Do you feel like you have a lot going on in your head and need a way to work through it?

If you’re human, you probably answered yes.

Our emotional experiences often get buried without being fully processed, and then cloud our future experiences, causing stress and pulling us out of the present moment.

That’s why humanStreams exists.

Decades of research make clear that we benefit significantly from letting out our thoughts and feelings, and sharing them with others.

Born from research that began at Stanford University’s School of Medicine, humanStreams is a therapeutic journaling app. It features hundreds of thoughtfully crafted prompts designed to help you reflect and connect with yourself in a deep way. You can also share a reflection with a close confidant in your life, sparking conversation and bringing you closer together.

It’s simple…

STEP 1: Choose a prompt or let us recommend one for you, or dive in and do your own thing.

STEP 2: Freely express yourself through words, audio, video, drawing, photos…whatever feels right.

STEP 3: If you like, share your reflection with someone close to you, to work through things together and support each other.
